Regular Season Round 9: Liberec - Litomerice 73-65

There was no surprise when 7th ranked Litomerice (2-5) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Liberec (5-3) 73-65 on Friday. Liberec forced 19 Litomerice turnovers. Point guard Josef Prihonsky (188-1993) stepped up and scored 19 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and point guard Vladimir Korinek (179-2002) chipped in 19 points and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was David Nejezchleb (193-2006) with 26 points and point guard Radovan Mrazek (187-2004) scored 19 points. Liberec moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Litomerice keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Liberec will meet at home USK Praha B (#6) in the next round. Litomerice will play against Polabi in Nymburk and hope to secure a win.
